2018 Students’ Union election candidates announced

The first all-candidates’ meeting for the 2018 Students’ Union executives and Board of Governors representative was held on Thursday, February 2. The following candidates have been announced, and will begin campaigning on February 26 at 9 a.m.; campaigning is forbidden until then. Voting will take place on March 7 and 8.

Additionally, students will be voting on one referendum and one plebiscite.

Referendum: Student Events Initiative

Plebiscite: Campus Recreation Enhancement Fund

  • “Yes” side: Sarah Jevne

Update (Feb. 15, 7:00 p.m.): Anthony Goertz was announced as a presidential candidate, but was declared ineligible to run because he was a graduate student. He has been removed from the candidates’ list.
