What: Andrea Ramolo concert

Andrea Ramolo is visiting Edmonton as part of her My Way Home tour, which celebrates her newest album release, Quarantine Dream. Her single, “Free” featuring Kinnie Starr, won Best Folk Video at the Annual Canadian Independent Music Video Awards. Check this out if you’re looking for music downtown!

The annual Edmonton Music & Speech Arts Festival features music students, actors, and musicians in a professionally adjudicated environment that’s open to music lovers to enjoy as well! There will be choirs, guitar, musical theatre, bands, harp, and more!

What: 2022 CLC Kreisel Lecture with Cherie Dimaline

When: April 21 at 7:30 p.m.
Where: TIMMS CENTRE for the ARTS
Admission: Pay-what-you-can

The 2022 CLC Kreisel Lecture features Cherie Dimaline, award-winning author of bestseller young adult novel The Marrow Thieves. This lecture will focus on how to deal with anxiety through writing and story, told through a lens of personal experience. There is also a signing after the lecture, so this isn’t something to miss if you’re a fan of young adult fiction!

What: How to make something from nothing

When: April 21 to 23
Where: La Cité Francophone
Admission: $25.00

Good Women Dance Collective’s newest show is a collaboration between several artists from the collective as well as guest artists. How to make something from nothing is a collective showcase of the artists’ lived experiences and allowing the audience to be engaged as well.

Jin He

Jin previously served as the 2021-22 Production Editor at The Gateway. She also had a brief stint as 2022-23 Production Editor. She is in her first year studying pharmacy. If not sleeping, she can often be found supporting local artisans, obsessing over e-sports, and sporting some wicked earrings.
